How do the "Input" function work in OB2?

Hi there!
I have already used the Input function in OB1 but it was easy to do.
In OB2 i have no idea on how it works espcially for the variable name, wich format it is ?

My variable is called “GRUT”

What do i need to put in variable name on the Input section ?

? GRUT ? input.GRUT ?

How to use custom inputs

Custom inputs are used to specify the value of some variables right before a job is started, so that they can be changed on a per-execution basis without having to change the config itself. To add a custom input, go to the config settings and scroll down to the Inputs section.
