How to parse encrypted captcha?

I’m following this guide How to solve image captchas

However the captcha I’m trying to parse returns in source response a bunch of ⍰⍰⍰⍰ and it’s not a .jpg image but has an address like this https://xxxxx.php?captcha=0.46163278886222336&set=1

How can I deal with this?

It’s fine, the response shown is just a UTF-8 representation of the jpg image, and since it’s not an actual string it gets printed like random garbage and unprintable characters. Just follow the guide it will be fine.

Nope, it’s not working, xevil5 sees it as a blank field:

for the sake of testing I snipped a captcha image from that site and uploaded it to a random image hosting, then I paste the .jpg link into OB2 and it’s working perfectly

Any idea how to fix this?

Well, maybe at that link it’s not getting an actual jpg image but it’s some sort of page with an image in it? I wouldn’t know how to help you without actually seeing the page for myself
