Interpolated mode (when the box is green) uses <>
Variable mode (When the box is blue) uses @variable
When the box is black that means it is static and non changing.

You just need to type the name of the variable in the blue box. You don’t need to put @. In the LoliCode itself it’s written with a @ in front, just to identify that it’s a variable.
